Meriton Networks | Careers http://www.meriton.com/news/index.php Careers en-ca Copyright Meriton Networks Tue, 27 Nov 2007 08:56:13 -0500 Development System Test Manager (Shanghai) Asia Pacific The Development System Test Manager will lead a team of system testers (initially 3-5 individuals) working on Meriton products including for cross connects, SONET/SDH/DWDM products, and Network Management applications. <h3></h3> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Coordinate the activities of the Meriton-Shanghai Development System Test team, including creating schedules, assigning work, and tracking progress.</li> <li>Responsible for the design and execution of system test cases for the Meriton product suite, including SONET/SDH features, DWDM products, and cross connect products.</li> <li>System test of carrier-class products.</li> <li>Analyze requirements, generate test documents and coordinate the planning and execution of test cases.</li> <li>Design and development of test scripts ?both manual and automated.</li> <li>Work closely with system development teams in the U.S. and in Canada.</li> </ul> Skills/Experience: <ul> <li>Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of test experience in embedded systems environment - carrier class products.</li> <li>Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar team leader role is high desirable. </li> <li>Possess strong technical, analytical and testing skills and be capable of handling multiple tasks with minimum supervision.</li> <li>Experience with best-in-class development test process including: test case design, test progress tracking.</li> <li>SONET/SDH/DWDM system development or test experience.</li> <li>Experience with automated system test approaches is desirable.</li> <li>Experience with source code change tracking systems (e.g. CVS or equivalent).</li> <li>Strong communication skills (English ?verbal and written).</li> <li>Experience with software defect tracking systems (e.g. Bugzilla or equivalent).</li> <li>Demonstrated strong teamwork skills are a definite requirement.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality results on schedule.</li> <li>Experience in testing SNMP or TL-1 protocols.</li> </ul> Interested candidates should email their resume to <a href=\"mailto:HRShanghai@meriton.com\">HRShanghai@meriton.com</a> http://www.meriton.com/news/careers.php?regionID=4#MN 325 Embedded System Software Engineer (Shanghai) Asia Pacific The Embedded Systems Software Engineer will work on embedded systems application software for SONET/SDH/DWDM and cross-connect products.
