Mike Pascoe

President & CEO

Mike Pascoe joined Meriton Networks as CEO in 2005. Most recently, Mr. Pascoe has been an active board member for a number of up-and-coming telecom companies including Meriton Networks and Anda Networks. Previously, Mr. Pascoe was CEO and President of PairGain Technologies, which ADC acquired in 2000 for $3 billion. Prior to PairGain, Mr. Pascoe was a key member of the executive management team at Newbridge Networks (acquired by Alcatel in 2000 for $7 billion) as the president of the U.S. division, as well as the EVP/GM of the North and South American business regions. Prior to his 14 years with Newbridge, Mr. Pascoe held various engineering and marketing positions with Nortel, Mitel and the telecom division of Rockwell International. Mr. Pascoe holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo.

Bill Gartner

Chief Operating Officer

Bill Gartner became Chief Operating Officer for Meriton Networks in October 2005. Previously Bill was president and COO for Mahi Networks and Photuris before that. Prior to Photuris, he was VP and GM of Optical Networking Systems at Lucent Technologies, where he led the access, metro and long-haul DWDM product suite. In this role, he was responsible for generating over $1B in revenue, while managing 500 R&D resources in five locations. His earlier tenure in the telecommunications industry includes roles at AT&T Paradyne and Bell Labs. Mr. Gartner received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, a master's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University, and an executive master's in management of technology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a University of Pennsylvania Moore Fellow in the Management of Technology and holds three patents.

Bill Chwedchuk

Chief Financial Officer

Bill Chwedchuk is a senior financial executive with more than 25 years experience. Prior to joining Meriton, Bill was the General Manager of Zomax Canada, an international supply chain manufacturing company with operations in the US, Canada, Mexico and Ireland. Prior to Zomax, Bill held senior financial positions with Champion Road Machinery, Digital Equipment of Canada (acquired by Compaq/HP) and Ernst &Young. Bill graduated from Queens University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree.  He earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 1985 while at Ernst & Young.

Steve Robinson

Vice President of Sales, North America & Asia Pacific

Steve Robinson brings 27 years of industry experience in sales, service and product development in Canada, the U.S. and Asia. Prior to Meriton, Steve was SVP, Avidia Networks at PairGain Technologies (acquired by ADC in 2000). Mr. Robinson was responsible for the development and global product management of PairGain's DSLAM products. Prior to PairGain, Steve spent many years with Newbridge Networks (Alcatel), where he was VP & General Manager for the Canadian sales region and later, VP & GM of the North Pacific sales region. Mr. Robinson began his career at Mitel Networks in Canada.

Jim Axford

Jim is responsible for all sales and services in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Meriton in 2006, Jim held senior management roles with Bell Canada, BCI, Nortel Networks and Samsung Electronics. During his 30 years in the industry, he has worked in Canada, the U.S., the Middle East and Europe; including more than a decade of experience within EMEA. Previous management roles have included sales management, product management, market development, marketing, account management and general management. As a Nortel VP, Jim was responsible for global business activities with BT; including Concert and BT Global in Europe. He is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University.

Manuel Andrade

Manuel Andrade leads Meriton's sales efforts in Caribbean and Latin America. Mr. Manuel Andrade has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications marketplace with a broad range of sales management, engineering hardware, and software development experience. He has worked extensively throughout Asia Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining Meriton, Mr. Andrade was President of the Caribbean and Latin American Regional Business Unit for ECI Telecom Ltd. Before working for ECI, Mr. Andrade founded xpandglobal Consultants LLC, a practice specialized in Business Development with a focus on International Markets. Prior to that, Mr. Andrade was the Vice President International Business Development for Daleen Technologies. Mr. Andrade was also the Vice President of International Operations at Westell Technologies where he was responsible for general management of all International Operations. His academic background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science and an Electronics Engineering degree. Mr. Andrade has been a speaker at numerous industry seminars and professional conferences.
